1. A fine start, warm and sunny but with an increasing southeast wind in the west and south.

2. Staying fair for Tuesday as well, with eastern areas staying fine and warm on Wednesday.

3. Changes in the west on Wednesday as cloud and rain (see the forecast rainfall chart below) reaches western areas, before slipping east.

4. Thursday is a cooler, mixed day for most; low pressure bringing cooler weather with rain or showers, although remaining fine in northern Scotland.

5. Cool and unsettled again for Friday with some rain or showers affecting much of the country, northern Scotland stays fair again.
