1 - It's a hot start to the week for southern areas with temperatures still reaching into the 30s Celsius here through midweek. Becoming fresher for other areas before then but not feeling fresher in the south until later in the week.

1 - An area of low pressure brings rain to most of us on Monday. Fresher conditions follow behind the rain from the west with showers for northwestern facing coasts and hills but some spells of sunshine developing too.
2 - Tuesday sees low pressure move off to the east continuing
Both the GFS and ECMWF models are forecasting a window of drier weather for much of Britain through the second part of this week.
Once Monday's rain clears through followed by Tuesday's showers, it looks as though many parts of England, Wales and Scotland are in for a drier few days
