Through the first part of this coming week, the jet stream will be staying over Ireland and the UK bringing further spells of heavy rain and strong winds to our shores. The flip side of the jet stream being over us is that our temperatures will be well up on

1 - Low pressure becomes the dominant driver of our weather here in the UK and Ireland this week. 2 - Outbreaks of rain, as well as some sleet and hill snow, affecting all areas. 3 - Rainfall accumulations will be highest in the west and southwest. 4 - Rainfall coming on top

1 - Temperatures on the whole will be on the cool side this weekend. Highs of less than 3C for most though parts of Ireland and the southwest could see highs in the double digits on Sunday. 2 - Overnight temperatures will continue to be bitterly cold. 3 - Wet conditions spread
