5 Weekend Weather Things to Know

After a chilly start for some on Saturday, it's a mostly dry and bright day across the country. A few showers may affect eastern and southeastern parts of England through the morning and into the early afternoon on Saturday as an occluded front grazes the southeast of the country.

August 2019

The Met Office have released their weather statistics for last month and, overall, August 2019 was warmer, wetter and sunnier than the average August across the UK. All four nations (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) recorded slightly warmer than normal values for the mean temperature, maximum temperature and minimum temperatures.
