2. Heavy showers in western Scotland on Saturday, but much brighter, drier and sunnier for Ireland, Wales and northern England; just a few showers are possible here.

3. A change for Sunday as increasing cloud brought about by a small area of low pressure brings rain to Ireland, Scotland and northern England.

4. Drizzle and low cloud for western coasts and hills in England and Wales, increasing during the day.

5. Drier east and south with sunshine at first, but tending to cloud up through the day.
