All eyes are on this next weather window that we are seeing could happen later next week as higher pressure builds in for a time. However, we are still a ways off from this yet and we have still more expected unsettled weather beforehand. A heads up about this weekend

I am now starting to see some better scope for a weather window later next week possibly pushing into the weekend of 12th/13th August. Holding on to this with caution, though, a number of models are seeing this ridge develop through the middle part of next week (around Wednesday 9th)
