Yes it's the eighth named storm of the season, and its called Henry...making it Henry the eighth!

It;s the left exit region of the jet stream which is doing it's job again bringing rapid deepening to an area of Atlantic low pressure.

Despite strong winds on Monday, with severe gales in Scotland, it;s as the secondary low takes over the mantle of the first that a swathe of extremely strong winds cross Scotland.

The focus for this is Monday night when gusts of 90mph are likely in Scotland, and as usual the media will report even stronger winds over the tops of the Scottish mountains.
