2. It won't be long before cloud and rain spread through southern Ireland, southwest England and southern Wales.

3. This rain brings a wet afternoon to most of England and Wales as well as southern Ireland, drier in the north.

4. Staying wet overnight in the southern UK, a risk of flooding, the rain only slowly clearing east Sunday as the winds increase too.

5. Dry in Scotland with sunny spells on Sunday, a cool day too, overall very pleasant.

So it's wellies and anoraks at the ready in the south, no need for such items in the north.
