A windy Saturday, latest gusts

It's been a windy night over Ireland, England and Wales as Storm Hannah (goodness, I hate naming storms!) tracks east as an area of low pressure over northern England.

It's not that unusual to get late season storms, and I can remember many occasions in late May and early June when a rogue one has hit the UK and Ireland.

So despite what you may hear today, this is not out of the ordinary and it is part of the ordinary weather routine.

I thought you might be interested in the latest gusts so here they are from our colleagues at Weatheronline ...

And here's the latest pressure map...
