Tuesday the 1st of June marked the official first day of Meteorological summer and we are happy to report that for most 'it did what it said on the tin' and gave us the long awaited summer sunshine and warmer temperatures. Tuesday saw temperatures reach a record of 26.1C in Cardiff

The regular ECMWF 6-Week is now taking us into the middle stages of July. A few differences compared with last week's forecast. Generally speaking, the 1st three weeks of June don't look to be too bad, some consecutive dry days are likely with warmer temperatures, although thundery showers are expected too.
