November begins, any changes?
- High pressure: A settled weather pattern prevails as a general area of anticyclonic conditions exists over Britain, Ireland and northern Europe.
- A lot of cloud again: It's been looking 'November-ish' for a while already, but that theme continues with more grey skies widely on offer this weekend.
- Some drizzle: For most places, there won't be any measureable rainfall this weekend. Some pockets of drizzle, plus dampness on the ground a result of the general air-mass dampness and fog.
- Mild: Nothing too special for most places, but double-digit values are likely widely, local maxima 16C in the northeast. Only a small drop overnight. Sunday night may be cooler, dipping to 5C locally.
- Some sun by Sunday: Drier continental air drawn in on a stronger southeasterly breeze should offer some breaks in the cloud, but will vary.
