We have all had our fingers burnt in the past as pressure was forecast to rise, only to be disappointed when the expected improvement in conditions failed to materialise.

However, we now have several days and good consistency between models that an improvement in conditions is ahead.

Here's the forecast from several models for Liverpool for the next 10-days.

Notice the top graph. These are various models (different colours) and notice they all head in an upward trajectory.

The middle chart shows 850hPa temperatures which show a peak at the end of this week, then slip back a little, probably as the winds change from a southerly to and easterly.

Thew bottom graph is rainfall, and only low amounts showing here overall, although some models highlighting a risk of rain on Thursday, although much uncertainty in this.
