The latest 6-week forecast from the ECMWF takes us into the middle of July, which will be, at least meteorologically speaking, mid-summer. Today the World Meteorological Agency publish a report which has highlighted that we are entering, what could be, a very strong E Nino event. El Nino is part of the natural upwelling of water in the eastern Pacific which cycles through periods of around two years. Some of these events are
