The end of the week is a focus right now. GFS is going for a cold northerly whilst the EC keeps things closer to average. The GFS does seem to be an outlier when compared to other models and goes for temperatures around 3 to 4C below those predicted by the  EC

Here's the latest Madden-Julian Oscillation forecast from the ECMWF. Notice how the MJO (look at the black line) is weak going through Phases 2 and 3 by late November and early December? During December Phase 2 is associated with lower pressure conditions, but there is then a shrinking change to Phase 3
